HDMI 2 WAY SWITCH SPLITTER (1 input x 2 output)

This HDMI 2 way splitter does what it says it does in the review, I have a 15m cable that I plug into it and run to my Kitchen so I can watch football games that are broadcast at meal times. It is brilliant product.

Doesn't quite work with my equipment

I bought this to share the output from a PS3 between an LG 32LH3000 television and an LG 2351 monitor.The signal is shared perfectly well as long as the TV is off or is on the PS3 "channel", but the main reason for buying this was so that I could use the PS3 with my monitor when the TV was in use, and this I cannot do without disconnecting the TV HDMI lead.The TV appears to be "polling" for connected equipment, which causes the splitter output for the monitor to flash on and off; I have positioned the splitter so I can disconnect the TV lead easily, but for me the whole point of the splitter was to avoid having to plug/un-plug.The splitter itself is a small black metal box with clearly marked sockets, and the power adapter has a decent enough length of cable. It has bright red LED's to indicate socket use.

I personally use it for both my TV's, as I share my main TV with many other people, if I want to play on my console, but others want to watch TV, it used to be very annoying for me to keep switching the cables around (this also will eventually cause wear and tear on the ports), so the splitter resolves my problem, they can watch TV, whilst I can use my HD devices on my smaller one, I can then plug in some headphones and everybody's happy, then when the big TV is free I can jump onto that without the need of switching cables.If I needed another splitter, would I purchase this over other makes? Absolutely. This is my second splitter altogether (I have two totally different makes), and I can honestly say that I prefer this one to my old one, it's a bit longer than the older one but is a lot slimmer to make up for it, and I genuinely prefer the feel of quality.
