Great player

A great player with top notch pictures (HD plamsa) and sound (via separate 5.1 system).I must admit I have not noticed any noise from the player as per other reviews. This player is reviewed in this months WhatHifi and takes the award.

3d blu ray player

Had this for approx a week now, the difference between dvd and blu ray i personal find staggering. have not tried the 3d function yet, but I don't believe it will disappoint.The remote will control other panasonic units but this can be switched off if that is your preferenceNo noise from this unit for me and remember to get a 1.4 hdmi as none are supplied.

Excellent performance, but only with pristine discs!

If you have an immaculate collection of blu-ray discs and never intend to use a rental service such as LoveFilm, this player won't disappoint. It loads quickly, operates quietly and delivers excellent picture and sound quality.However, this player struggles with scratches or even smudges. I tried four different discs from LoveFilm, all with minor scuffs, and none of them worked properly in the Panasonic BDT110. The same discs worked perfectly in a Sony PS3.I bought this player based on 5 star reviews from What Hifi magazine, but they obviously didn't try the machine with scuffed discs. I think I'll stick to reviews from Which? magazine in future. So far, their recommendation of the LG BD670 Smart 3D Blu-ray Player has handled scuffed discs with ease.
