I bought the device to convert the Hdmi output on an Apple TV to scart as The television I connected to had no Hdmi connection. It worked just fine!

Cheating the system.

This is a great little item and it has enabled me to do so much more with my TV system. My Panasonic PVR only had one HDMI output so I used a 2 way splitter, one went to the TV and the other to this HDMI to Scart converter. Then a normal Scart lead into my DVD RAM recorder.The Panasonic PVR has built in wi-fi and now I can record onto a DVD; iPlayer & anything I have recorded & want to keep.
