COMPATIBLE WITH MAC OS X

just thought i'd leave this review here for people not sure about the compatability with this icybox enclosure and mac OS X, i bought this to use with my lite on IHAS 124 version B DVD Drive so i could burn the new XGD3 games on my macbook.... i just installed the drive plugged it in and it connected straight away... very impressed with the looks too.... great enclosure and very quick delivery

Only unit I found in Europe, well made , prompt delivery, just had to take of the front facia of Pioneer unit, as it was catching on spring clip of shell.

I brought this to house an external blu-ray writer that i had previously purchased last year (LG GGW 2H0L), initially i had a lot of issues installing the blu-ray writer on windows XP as it was discontinued and the only updates/drivers i could find were the firmwire updates for the device itself. However as i also have windows 7 home premium on a second partition, i tried it on there and was extremely suprised that it worked amazingly. I am extremely happy with the Icybox that i bought and would definitely recommend it to others, the delivery of the unit was fast, and set-up was simple, just plug in, turn on and attatch to usb port in windows 7. however, if you do plan on watching blu-ray discs i recommend Nero 12 as it comes with software to play blu rays, even if the install is lengthy and you have to update it first it was well worth the wait. my first blu-ray was the avengers assemble and it was an incredible movie to watch.
