Simply The Best!!!

What a fantastic machine. Picture quality superb on ALL platforms and ease of use. You cannot beat the price and it's a well known named product. HOWEVER!!!The HDMI connection will not work directly through my Sony T.V!!! There is no picture and no sound. If I plug the HDMI into a hub, where I have several connections, the sound and picture are superb BUT every now and then, say every 10 minutes, the picture and sound go off and the hub has to be re-set. I do not have this problem with any other of my units. It seems that this DVD player must stand alone when it comes to the HDMI BUT when it is connected that way it does not work! Vicious circle.K.K. have been brilliant, they are sending a replacement and picking up the other machine at the same time.After a lot and I mean a lot of research it appears to either be one of two things, it is either a hardware fault, or lo and behold, the DVD player is not compatible with my t.v., even though it is the same make! We will see when the new one arrives.Why oh why could we still not have SCART that could be made to be the H.D. connection!?Update! K.K. delivered a new player and had the old one collected at the same time, on a day to suit me!!!! Excellent service! Plugged in the new player and right from the start it found the t.v. and the t.v. found it on the input it should and works beautifully, which points to a Hardware fault! Thanks K.K.
