This is a good blu-ray player. Both the 2D and 3D works fine. The magic remote works fine but doesnt seem to have voice search functions like some newer LG TVs. But the magic remote is still very responsive and works to switch off the TV too.I havent tried out all the apps like netflix etc and will update this review when I do. Youtube app works fine as any app on a TV or Bluray player would but it (or any other smart TV or blu-ray player) has less functionality than most cheap android TV boxes.Buy this for the cool miracast features and private sound modes and blu-ray and 3d blu-ray play back and magic remote and NOT FOR THE SMART features as most smart TV and blu-ray players by all manufacturers are dumber than most cheap android TV boxes or sticks! I will soon upload an android TV box review to my youtube channel ( veryannoyingname ) showing the smart features that this bluray player or any smart TV will find hard to match even in the next year.Giving this 4* only because this (or any other of the smart TVs or smart blu-ray players that are available now) cannot beat a cheap android set top box or stick for functionality. But otherwise its a fine player.I have another sony smart 3D blu-ray player to compare and also have smart sony TV and a LG smart TV to compare the smart features. The magic remote on this LG is good compared to the other makes remotes. But I wish some of these major brands do an android based device and it will beat the s*** out of the other makes then for functionality instead of the brands making a hash with their own app stores and apps that are a poor comparison to ones found on cheap android set top boxes.The miracast screen mirroring feature mirrors my samsung galaxy s4 screen effortlessly even for full HD videos. There is an optical output and ethernet port. It has built in wifi which works fine. The player worked fine out of the box and there was a a software update available too which I have updated to.Amazon delivery 'service' was a JOKE. I am an amazon prime customer and instead of delivering this in one day as shown on this website, they took one week and a couple of repeat orders and lot of hassle for me and repeated calls to their help lines and also their delivery people. The whole farce drained my energy and i have now cancelled my amazon prime automatic renewal because of the farce over the delivery issues and some rude amazon phone help line staff. Would have been less hassle buying it from a shop even if a bit costlier. But thats no reflection on this good blu-ray player.I havent tried the ultraHD upscaling as I dont have an ultraHD TV or projector.
