Individual speaker volumes and distances from listening position can also be specified but I haven't adjusted a single thing yet because I haven't moved my tape measure in yet haha. Maybe all the av enthusiasts are gonna call me a moron but it simply sounds fabulous out of the box!My wife, sister-in-law and I watched the blu-ray Matrix trilogy and WOW it was just fantastic! absolutely thrilling! Completely better than the cinema! Such an immersive experience! 1080p on my Panny G10 was amazingly clear! Got the Fifth Element blu-ray just to play the opera scene and again Fan-bloody-tastic!Wife has spotify on her iphone and bluetoothing with the tv off and listening to music is great! Music in 9.1 is excellent!! As is the ability to play stuff via usb. Never seen low definition content upscaled before and its very impressive!Might wanna take everything I say with a pinch of salt because Im no audiophile but I do appreciate sound quality and have bought quality headphones several times. My basis for what a sound should sound like is compared to that (trust me I'm not one of those louder = high quality). The 9.1 does fill the entire air space with concert level quality! Now my day will start by reading news on my ipad whilst streaming some quality music over bluetooth. Simply Brilliant!Oh and the wireless speakers work completely fine by the way, not a single hiccup. We have cordless phones, wifi and iphones that have been in use and none of those wireless devices haven interfered (so far touch wood!).This LG is just perfect!

Bought this to compliment my Panasonic TX- P50GT50b. For the price £499 that I paid Richer Sounds through Amazon for it the overall sound and other services ( Access to LGs internet platform etc) it really cannot be faulted. Yes,as other reviews have mentioned,it is a tad ' buggy' at present. I'm hoping that future OTA upgrades will sort that out. To clarify, when I say its a tad ' buggy', Although its connected to my usually reliable and fast router via an Ethernet cable, it is very slow to load the online services. Also I've only downloaded one app onto it ( Absolute Radio) this I havent been able to use yet as whenever I try the whole service freezes. Probably due to my own lack of knowledge vis a vie electronic gadgetry, I've also experienced difficulty with the linkage to my GT50..The LG home theatre system has to be switched on before I get any audio from my TV..This something I need to discuss with someone a great deal more electronic savvy than me. The sound on this thing though is amazing! Watched Skyfall on it just yesterday and it was a thoroughly enjoyable and immersive experience...If you are after a one box system and you can get this for about £500, then Id say youve got yourself a bargain go ahead and buy it..Build quality, although largely glossy plastic is okay and assembly,even for me,was a doddle... I had the previous model to this so I thought it was a time for an update. The system came is a VARY large & heavy box, so make sure there are two people at home to take delivery.Setting up the equipment was extremely easy, just make sure you have a tape measure to hand to measure the distances from the speakers to your preferred viewing position.In operation the sound is fantastic, with the 3D picture and sound brilliant. I have tested it on various 3D and non 3D blu-ray movies and both the picture and sound is great. Even when watching 1980's television programmes on SKY it produces a great sound.It is expensive but in my view, well worth the money.
