Ordered this for the features and size. It plays just about anything and is tiny. Works really well om DVDs. I don't have any blu rays yet. However the DVD picture is great so no need to ditch the old ones. I have a Philips tv and it integrates really well. Strangely mine arrived with a 2 pin shaver type plug. Like you get in Italy etc. very odd indeed. No idea where they are getting these from. The picture quality is good and if you turn it all off in the middle of a movie it will restart where you left off. All in good. No need for a better one.

I was looking for a second blu-ray player for my bedroom and I didn't want one as a big as the one I have in my living room and this was perfect, almost half the size of my other Philips blu-ray player. Easy to install and use and pefect picture play back. My only grip with the product, which was the same with my other Philips is that sometimes the remote control is not as responsive as it might be, but it is a good product at a competitive price.

Depending on how much of a movie watcher you are or if you already have a smart tv, this player is either ideal as a second-room device or a main room one. It's not smart and doesn't really do much else than play CD/DVD/Blu-ray and USB files (video and music, no trouble with formats), but is very small and upscales just as well as any other make. It has a front panel counter and zoom and disc resume even when a disc is removed from the player on Blu-ray and DVD!Uses hardly any power (11W) and even has HDMI-CEC, but only has Coaxial audio out. Oh, and you can make it multiregion for DVD playback...1.- Unit on/ showing 'no disc' screen with no disc inside.2.- Press 1389310 on the remote.3.- Power the player off and back on.
