The picture is superb, whether it be HD or 3D.The sound is absolutely awesome. It says on the spec that it produces sound to rival the cinema and it's not wrong. I daren't turn it up full blast the glazing bill would be too much.Looks wise, Well, It looks like a sophisticated bit of kit and it most certainly is.Easy to set up and easy to operate, What more could you ask for.The only criticisms I have is the length of the power leads. Why in God's name do they put a short lead on all their products? and the Youtube application. It's obvious that certain content is filtered and doesn't show on the menu which is frustrating for a start but it also filters content that is shown. There's no secret that Sony will try and eek out as much money as they possibly can from your pocket but when you've spent the best part of £1300 it's a bit of a pisser to find that they have tinkered with the most popular applications on the system.I've always bought Sony products and probably always will but to mess about with something that's completely accessible on my laptop and phone for the sake of extracting a couple of quid more from me spoils what is a great system.

Apart from being disappointed regarding delivery dates (between 17th Nov-7th Dec) I was pleasantly surprised to receive the parcel on or about the 29th Nov.Upon opening the outer box the inner box was found to be well protected with ample packaging.I didn't realise that the order came from Germany (Puremac) so I found 1 UK adapter plug in amongst the outer packaging (lucky I checked through it) although the unit requires 2 adapters, but that's really not a problem as i have changed the 2 plugs over to UK 3 pin.Now, the system itself is good to look at, and it packs a real punch when it comes to the sound quality. my family and I are going through all the Star Wars DVD's and are constantly amazed at the 5.1 sound....absolutely superb, and as for live music on DVD, well that is mind blowing!It is a 3D Blue Ray player, and makes all non 3D discs look sharper, it also connects to your wifi set up etc etc!Yes it is difficult to see the display on the player as I have it lying flat, but it can be attached to a wall.Wiring up is so child proof (colour coded) and as we have wooden floors throughout the house, the wireless receiver sits behind the settee supporting the output to the rear speakers....once again superb!I already have a Sony Bravia TV, so both units "talk" to each other and therefore setting up is simpler...apparently, although I am having trouble sussing out how to get sound from TV programmes via the system, but i'll suss it out eventually.I have had a Bose system in the past, but I would put this system right up there with it and would highly reccomend it to anyone looking for a 5.1 surround system at a good price.....again absolutely superb!

The wireless speakers make it so much better, with no cable running around the room.Good sound quality, good product and good value for money.
