Pre-ordered this after old model sold out. what a difference it makes. Tv is panasonic which is good brand but this unit changes sound completely, takes a little time and adjustment to get the best settings. Subwoofer is very good for size. Remote is poor though very small and flat, difficult to read writing on buttons. No leads with it to connect to TV or dvd. Well worth the money but let down with the poor remote. Really should have lead(s) with it, they would not cost that much. Its quite small and unobstrusive, dont notice it much after a short while. Great sound from movies. Has surround sound mode which sounds weird at times. Overall though a good buy

Great product, Improves sound quality alot especially low level conversation. Mostly use it for streaming music and watching films through my Ps3. For the price range its exactly what i need, not to fancy but delivers great sound and deep bass. Maximum volume will have the neighbours moaning for sure. I was suprised at the punch it has for 60w output. The remote control has bass, treble and overall volume control. The surround sound mode can echo quite alot but to be honest for the price range what do you expect. Saying that though the sound from the standard setting is great anyway. Make sure you buy a connection lead as one isn't supplied with the soundbar and subwoofer.

After spending what felt like hours trawling through different soundbars around the £100 mark,I was left with this, the Roth Sub Zero and the Samsung HW-E350. I had previously owned the LG NB2020a, and even though the sound was pin sharp and crisp, had zero customization and a very poor bass, which left me feeling like I had spent £100 on nothing more than a minor improvement on my TV speakers. So I went off to Richer Sounds, the experts after all, for some advice and demonstrations.I tried the highly regarded Roth Sub Zero, and even though it sounded good, with nice bass, but with no Dolby or DTS sound enhancement, didn't offer anything that stood out. The Samsung E-350, even though cost more than the rest sounded the worst of the three, with a very tinny sound coming from the speakers and a poor bass.As the adviser pointed out, to have a half decent system, you really need a seperate sub-woofer to offer the full range of sound, which, even though some of these proclaimed to either have or have a decent equivalent, simply didn't when it came to it, certainly not at these prices anyway.I then suggested this Philips system which the adviser raved about, saying they were good sellers in their stores throughout the country. To start, the subwoofer offers some fantastic depth without overpowering the sound; it was while listening to it that i truly understood what he meant about having a separate sub.The mid and high pitch were good without sounding excellent, and to be honest, in this area the LG was better. This system offered the option to customize both the bass and treble, with the Dolby digital making a nice addition also. As for the surround sound, I had to smile, it was terrible! I honestly don't know why they bother! Just make a decent system, and no-one will mind, after all, we all know that for music to feel like it is coming from either next to you or behind you, you need speakers positioned next to you or behind! Just give it up! Especially at this price! To conclude, this is a good system, better than most in this price bracket, with a good sub, Dolby sound enhancement, and some nice, clear speakers
