Simple to install and an effective WiFi adaptor

The Rangemax WNDA3100v2 is an effective WiFi adaptor and very easy to install.It is inserted in the USB port of my Panasonic Viera TV and automatically connects to the wireless router with Viera Cast. I configured it as per the instructions by connecting to a wireless PC beforehand, but have since heard that this is not necessary.Highly recommended and half the price of Panasonic's own adaptor.

Don't buy this for connection to Panasonic Home Cinema or Blu-Ray

This wireless USB adaptor is compatible with Panasonic Viera TV's, so I took a chance that this would also work with the Panasonic Blu-Ray players - I'd just purchased a Panasonic Home Cinema System.The USB adaptor worked fine in a PC, but would not work in the Blu-Ray player. I checked with Panasonic technical help, and they confirmed it was not compatible.I returned this adaptor and bought the NetGear WNCE2001 Universal Ethernet to Wireless LAN adaptor instead. This works fine, and I can take the power from the unit from the USB socket normally used for a wireless LAN adaptor.So don't be fooled if you see this item as an 'also bought with' item on Amazon when buying a home cinema system!

Does not work for Panasonic TX-L32E5B

I can get most things to work & ignored warnings that this might not work with 2012 Panasonic TVs.This does NOT work with a Panasonic Viera TX-L32E5B TV (and I would think it won't work with any TX-LxxE5B model).The adaptor comes in a box that gives a link to Netgear's website which has a list of supported Panasonic models - it would help if this link was displayed by Amazon on this page. To find a list of compatible models go to Netgear's homepage and search for Panasonic.Edit: As an alternative I purchased Netgear Universal Wifi Internet Adapter and this works perfectly. This neat little device converts the Viera ethernet port into a wifi port and is powered from the USB port - all cables are supplied. This is cheaper than the Panasonic USB dongle.
