As a home entertainment enthusiast I recently had two mounted tv's installed, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. However this left me with various systems, such as my games consoles, speakers and vhs player (old school I know) lying around on the floor.After getting tired of tangled wires and the general mess I ordered two of these products, at the price I thought I may as well give them a go.I had no problems with the set up (a 3mm worked fine for me), and they look and feel sturdy, easily carrying the weight of the devices I have placed on them.All in all, for the price I paid, I can't really fault the product. And I am no longer tripping over loose cables in the night.

I bought this to go with a TV wall mount as I hate visible cables. This wall mount offers cable management via two channels that run down the back. These channels will hold a maximum of 4 cables each and as everyone knows, most modern TV's have multiple inputs and if you have a satellite receiver, dvd player or other peripherals, this can mean multiple wires. The cable routing channels are not suitable for this kind of set up. If you have only a few cables to hide then this would be OK otherwise get some extra trunking and hide the cables that way.Aside from that, My Surround Sound system overhangs the glass shelves (my fault for not checking) as they are quite small, more suited to a Sky receiver and a small DVD player.Fitting was a doddle although the instructions said to use a 3mm drill bit-Wrong! I used an 8mm bit and that was a little too big but I get the plugs to stay put.For the price, I cant see many problems. It is quite sturdy and looks quite good so go for it if that is what you want.

bought for my sons bedroom just what we wanted great, It was quite straight forward to assemble would by again if needed
